Jedlix is a leading smart charging software company from the Netherlands.

Our software platform and apps connect the charging of electric vehicles with renewables and energy markets. This supports the integration of renewable energy into the energy system and lowers the costs to charge electric cars. The best of both worlds! We do this in a unique and innovative way by integrating with the connected systems of car manufacturers and charge point operators. Jedlix is partnering with parties like Tesla, Renault, BMW and energy market players like international utilities, grid companies and ventures. As a cleantech start-up we are backed by Dutch renewable energy utility Eneco and Groupe Renault.

To enhance our international expansion, we are looking for a Business Development Manager Automotive for the Germany market. In this position you have the responsibility to establish long term relationships with our current and future automotive partners and broader ecosystem to expand our smart charging platform to electric vehicle drivers. This involves among others the following activities and responsibilities:

  • Realize the acquisition, execution and implementation of commercial agreements with automotive partners. This includes delivery and project management in close alignment with our commercial and software development team.
  • Build relationships with our partners on both the operational and executive level and be able to initiate new partnerships and broaden existing ones.
  • Build a network in the relevant e-mobility ecosystem and represent Jedlix as thought leader in this topic.

What you will need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development / commercial role in the automotive, mobility industries and already have an established network here.
  • Native in German, fluent in English
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and a commercial mindset
  • Have a competitive edge and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Outgoing mindset, creative and ability to build a network
  • Work remotely in the field in Germany to be close to the ecosystem and frequently visit our head office in Rotterdam

Nice to have qualifications

  • Understanding and experience in digital service development and/or start-up environment
  • Understanding of energy, smart grid and e-mobility related concepts
  • Understanding of product and software development process.
