Hark Technologies, a Norwegian supplier of digital services to the electricity industry, and Jedlix, a Dutch smart charging service provider, are collaborating to distribute and integrate their services in the Nordics.
As part of this partnership, Hark will integrate Jedlix's range of smart charging services through its APIs. This collaboration will enable Hark to offer these smart charging services to its energy retail clients alongside its existing lineup of digital energy solutions. This includes energy retail clients that Hark recently took over from Skagerak Energi as part of a broader strategic investment.
This partnership creates a seamless experience for EV drivers of its retail energy clients as they can benefit from advanced smart charging service that supports dynamic rates, solar smart charging and even virtual power plant services. All in one integrated environment which is already provided by Hark.
Energy retailers also benefit from simplified access for clients and increased opportunities to activate more services. This collaboration combines energy insight and demand response control to build upon each other's strengths.
In the second phase, the parties plan to create product synergies for the next generation of cutting-edge smart energy services. Live electricity consumption data from the HANdongle that connects to smart electricity meters can enhance smart charging automation and optimisation, supporting grid capacity rates and solar charging. This has the potential to reduce EV drivers' energy bills significantly.
While the initial focus of the partnership is on the Nordics, both companies are open to expanding to other countries when similar opportunities arise. They are fully committed to cultivating product synergies and expanding their activities throughout the region.
"Hark's integration of Jedlix services in the Nordics further solidifies our position as a leading energy management solutions provider. This partnership allows us to offer our clients a broader range of services, providing them with the tools needed to deliver future-oriented solutions to their consumers, which will reduce their churn and increase customer satisfaction.” - Joar Gunnarsjaa Harkestad, CEO at Hark Technologies
